Akshay has been a restaurateur by profession for 12 years and started Bombay Gourmet Market at the height of the lockdown. He successfully applied his restaurant expertise to curate a gourmet e-supermarket, focusing on selecting products that complement a variety of cuisines.
At Bombay Gourmet Market, Akshay is deeply involved in marketing, new product deployment and development, operational processes, and all aspects of problem-solving.
As part of the team, Akshay handles the customer-facing side of the business.

Coming from an import-export background, Kurush brings extensive knowledge and experience in supply chain management. He initially joined Akshay as a 'Master Franchise' for Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Goa, and in April 2023, became a co-founder.
